John,

It seems that this is your last day of your magical mystery tour. I have followed on and off with great interest.

Well done! It seems along time since you stayed with us in South Cave.

Hope all is well.

Hi John

I've just spent a fascinating half-hour catching up (from the end backwards) with your M62 blog. Only got as far as St Helens so it will probably take me as long to read it as it did you to walk it. I really warm to your empathy with places, architecture and of course people. I keep telling myself that now I have retired I can do more of this sort of thing myself. Maybe I'll do a Lent walk, but I can't promise as enthralling a commentary.

best wishes
David
